Like so many reggae artists, Christopher Butler, known to his multitudes of fans as Brooklyn's own Reggae Master, Bigga da Boss da Rocka, was island born. But in his case the island was Long Island, the country was the United States and the town was Brooklyn NYC.

Miss St Kitts says All the Ladies agree . . . Bigga IS better!! Born in the East New York section of Brooklyn and residing in Bed-Stuy, Bigga grew up surrounded simultaneously by both the Dancehall Music of his Caribbean & African immigrant neighbours as well as the "beats of Urban American Hip-Hop culture.
Among his early influences, Bigga counts such classic Dancehall Artist such as Shabba Ranks, Super Cat, Ninjaman, and Spragga Benz.
His musical talent sparked by the rich synthesis of the music of the various cultures that surrounded him, Bigga improvised his own style of chantin' developing a fusion sound as an American Hip-Hop/Reggae Artist.
At twenty-six years of age this is just the beginning of Bigga's budding career.
Most every week Bigga can be found performing shows at the hottest venues through out the tri-state area, including an appearances at the famed Apollo Theater where he continues to garner a very favourable reception.
Under the auspices of The New Talent Records Bigga released his first solo LP Bigga's Debut. Each track is a Club Banger. This Homeland artist has written, produced, and co-produced his first jump off, so jump on it cause it's a classic.
